70E Table 130.7(C)15(c) Personal Protective Equipment is the table used for the PPE Categories method. In that Table PPE 1 goes to 4 cals, PPE 2 goes to 8 cals, PPE 3 - 25 cals and PPE 4 - 40 cals.
Category 2 is good for 8 calories, but anything larger can be used for a lower incident energy rating, so a 25-cal PPE can be used for Cat 2.

Thank you for your reply,
So, a cloth is marked with 25 cal/cm and 2 CAT.
Which one is relevant?

Might be helpful to take a picture of the tag and post it here.

The class 2 refers to APC 2 (Arc Protection Class 2) according to IEC61482-1-2 (european Box Test) and is independent from the ATPV value

Yes, it's clear.
I needed confirmation that I did indeed need to replace the protective clothing.
Thank you for the time you have spent on this topic

Sincerely
