Do you use the standard 18, 24 and 36 inch working distances from IEEE 1584 or do you use something else for the IEEE based arc flash calculations?

Previously standardized on 24" working distance, but recently conformed to IEEE 1584 defaults for liability reasons. Considering the potential for mistakes and misunderstanding, I think we gave up more than we gained: 24" was a reliable standard easy to understand and with no mistakes on the labels.
