Post subject:  Arcing Time for 132kV

i intrested to do hand calculation for arc flash hazard for 33kV and 132kV. I face some problem in finding arcing time. May i know is arcing time equal to fault clearing time? How to get the arcing time for 33kV and 132kV switchgear and cables? Is it any standard that i can refer to? Thanks in advance.

The fault/arc clearing time will be determined by the protective device types and settings. These must be found from calibration/testing reports or by actual field tests for each device. There is no standard for that.
