 Post subject: Shock Protection Approach Boundary Inquiry

Hello Everyone,

As many of you are aware documents like NFPA 70E 2021 publish shock protection boundaries for energized equipment(See image sampled from NFPA 70E).

After doing some research I saw that there is more than one document out there with shock protection boundary recommendations.

Some examples of documents which also publish Shock Approach boundaries are listed below:

Brazil: NR-10

Canada: Z462

Great Brittan: EN 501110-1:2013


Im curious if anyone out there knows if there is an Australian document or standard which also publishes its own shock protection boundaries too?

Any help with this inquiry would be much appreciated!

I would just use the NFPA 70E (but of course I am in the US); however, if I had data from other sources, I would use whatever source published the most conservative boundary.
