That data sheet looks like it's from Duke and I'd bet money the %Z is not actual but straight out of the Duke red book instead. Some of their transformers have the nameplate on the outside, not in the secondary compartment. Not many, but some do. I'd check that if you can. If you ask them for actual %Z they probably won't respond or provide it so about all you can do is use the 5.32% or run multiple scenarios and worse case. I sent you a video I made that touches on this. It's one I made a couple years ago but took it down as I left out some stuff that should have been included and it just wasn't a very good video to start with. Hope it helps. |

In these cases, I'll use +/-7.5% of the Z given by the utility when I suspect the # is canned. Then run scenarios around those #'s as Brent suggested. Mike |
