Post subject:  Breaker information

I wonder if anyone here can give me a hand. I am doing arc flash study for an old industrial project. There is one GE breaker I really couldn't find the information for its trip unit. The info I have is: GE air circuit breaker, AK-1-25, 600A frame. The trip unit is GE EC2, 175L376G-2. I don't know if any of you may know this based on your experience. I tried to search it from the website but unfortunately there is no result. If you can help, I will very appreciate it! (as I know, it is not an electronic trip unit)

Ge Ak-25

Noah,

What exactly do you need to know? Are you looking for the device TCC to manually determine the trip time? What software are you using to do your study?

The TCCs are available online. Google: GES-6010 , GES-6011 , and GES-6012. These are the TCC numbers for the three different long time pick up bands. This is something the software company would do for you (I would think). The GE / EC-2 is an available trip unit in my software library already. Good luck.
