At the current time almost everyone is keeping the working distance the same as it is specified in IEEE 1584, right, wrong, or indifferent, except in isolated cases. Doing this has value only in cases where it varies from the default. There is more value in knowing the barricade boundary (limited approach or arc flash boundary, whichever is greater), which indicates how to set up the work site. |

Good idea - working distance should be included, but how about: Available incident energy at the corresponding working distance. Adding "corresponding" is the exact wording in 130.5(C)(1) Equipment Labeling |
