This week's question is about a misunderstanding regarding the arc flash hazard. 1.2 cal/cm2 is the commonly referenced incident energy level where arc rated PPE is required. Because of this value, some have stated that an arc flash hazard does not exist below this value - I've seen this on labels in the past.
