Do you use/specify default enclosure sizes or actual enclosure sizes for arc flash studies?

As many know by now, the 2018 Edition of IEEE 1584 provides a method to adjust the incident energy based on the size of the enclosure opening.

Table 8 – Classes of equipment and typical bus gaps contains enclosure sizes for different voltages and classes of equipment.

Most software defaults to these values in the absence of user specified sizes.

Here is this week’s question:
Do you use/specify default enclosure sizes or actual enclosure sizes for arc flash studies?
