The 2018 Edition of IEEE 1584 includes 5 different electrode configurations. The horizontal configuration (HCB) often results in a greater calculated incident energy. Here is this week's question.

On average, what percent of arc flash study equipment locations do you/your consultants use the Horizontal Electrode (HCB) configuration?

Less than 25%
25 – 50%
50 – 75%
More than 75%
Not using the 2018 IEEE 1584 yet
Not applicable / don’t perform studies
