Arc flash label size may vary depending on the user’s preference and also the available space on equipment. This week’s question is about the “typical” sizes of arc flash labels. A few of the more common sizes are listed.

Which selection best represents your typical arc flash label size?
  • 4 x 6 inches (10.2 x 15.2 cm)
  • 5 x 7 inches (12.7 x 17.8 cm)
  • 6 x 8 inches (15.2 x 20.3 cm)

Our standard size is 4x6. We also have some smaller 2.25x3 labels for places where the big labels are too big to fit properly (such as some local disconnects.)

4X6 Standard label 90% of equipment locations and 2X4 on smaller disconnects (100A-60A).

3.5 x 5 - (OL5100LP) They fit 4 to a sheet, they are very reasonably priced, they are weatherproof Polyester, and they can be printed on a Laser Printer
