As part of the process for achieving an electrically safe work condition, NFPA 70E 120.1(6) says phase conductors should be grounded if there is a possibility of induced voltages, stored energy or contact with other energized conductors. This week’s question:

Do you ground conductors when establishing an electrically safe work condition?
  • Yes
  • No
  • Depends on the situation
  • We don’t perform electrical work
