FWIW, one of the eye-openers with our arc-flash work was coming to the realization that arc-flash was simply one part of an Electrical Safety Program, which at the time consisted of little more than a one-page list of do's and don't-do's. Re-writing the ESP to be up-to-snuff with the arc-flash efforts turned out to be almost as much work as the arc-flash study.
