Do you use the standard 18, 24 and 36 inch working distances from IEEE 1584 or do you use something else for the IEEE based arc flash calculations? |

Previously standardized on 24" working distance, but recently conformed to IEEE 1584 defaults for liability reasons. Considering the potential for mistakes and misunderstanding, I think we gave up more than we gained: 24" was a reliable standard easy to understand and with no mistakes on the labels. |
