Post subject:  New electrical unit (?)
I was reading a time current curve document for Type E fuses. Quote from the TCC document: "MEDIUM VLOTAGE AMP-TRAP FUSE". "VLOTAGE" is new to me. Good thing we read based on letter contents in the word, not just the arrangement. But, perhaps "VLOTAGE" is a new electrical unit, I have been out of school for a while.

Vlotage might have something to do with smart grid, trading carbon credits; those are sciences that only the politicians seem to fully appreciate and I suspect that VLotage would be okay by them.

Remember Omh's Law: Apms = Vlots / Omhs. (Or put more formally, Crurent (in Apmeres) equals Vlotage (measured in Vlots) divided by Rseistance (measured in Omhs).
