Greetings,

I couldn't find clear information regarding DC equipment labeling in NFPA 70E. Specifically, I am looking for the voltage range that requires an arc flash study.

Thx

T130.5(C) - Under 125V AC or DC no likelihood of occurrence. Over that, then yes, you should be labeling.

The rest of Art. 130 has information on labeling and PPE for AC and DC systems. 130.5(H) has labeling requirements and doesn't distinguish between AC and DC.

T130.7(C)(15)(b) it the table for using the Category method for DC systems and 130.7(C)(15)(c) shows the PPE per category and does not distinguish between AC and DC systems.

Recommend you review Art 130 completely rather than take my cherry-picked code citations as gospel.
