Could someone direct me to any code/standard (NFPA-70, NFPA-72, ASME A17, IBC, NFPA-101, etc.) that would dictate where the Shunt Trip device Shall be, or that the Elevator Control Disconnecting Means and Shunt Trip Device Shall be the same/integrated device?

Thanks!

you may have better response asking this question on a forum that is more geared towards the NEC, such as Mike Holt's forum. this forum is more dedicated and focused on arc flash.

The shunt trip may be in the panel or switchboard supplying the circuit, or it may be in the disonnecting device in the elevator machine room. However, the local elevator code may have more restrictions; you should always check the code of the local jurisdiction.
