Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is now offering a high speed arc flash detection option on the SEL-751A Feeder Protection Relay. The SEL-751A has always offered the ability to enable instantanious elements while maintenance is being performed, but now with this new option it will also monitor for arc flash. Additional saftey and be acheived by using wireless or remote communication to stay competely outside the danger zone.
