30" leg coveralls

Where can we purchase coveralls with different leg lenths? I purchased 2 pair [ large ] and could not get ones with short leg ,29" 30" only 34".

When purchasing coveralls they are sized more in the full body length because they are one piece. For instance most styles are 5'8" to 5'11 1/2" for regular length and 6'0" to 6'3" for talls.

Also the crotch hangs down a couple inches so if your inseam is 29" you would only need about 27".

If your height is 5'3" to 5'7" you would take a short length.

We sell different brands and some of them come in the short length which I could help you out with.

Workrite makes coveralls in regular, short and tall. The regular has a 30" inseam, the short has a 29", and the tall has a 31". We can also alter to your requirements. By contacting customer service at 800-521-1888 you can find out the specifics.

Just be sure that any alterations made are done so using the FR thread. I have seen non FR thread used in many garments when alterations were made that can be a serious hazard and non-compliant.

In reply to the comment from Zog, he is exactly right. Workrite only uses FR thread, but that may not be the case for others doing alterations.

The FR coveralls tend to be worn over your existing clothing which is why manufactures tend to stitch them shorter. We also carry Nomex & Protera coveralls at various lengths for the inseams, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us. We also offer alteration tailoring with Nomex thread.
