Where do I get gloves tested?

Discussion in 'Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)' started by mokash34, Feb 11, 2010.

    Hello-

I am not to knowledgeable when it comes to PPE testing. With that being said, I have a question regarding testing of rubber gloves. Basically, where would a company send their gloves to if they need to be tested?

Specifically, are there any facilities in the Detroit, MI area that tests gloves? If this question doesn't make any sense, please forgive my ignorance. Thanks for looking and I appreciate any help!

You are in luck, you are near the best place for glove testing anywhere. (Ask for Brad)

Or you can drop them off here, in Novi, they send them to Reed city but handle all the logistics for you. You pay a little more but easier if you are local.

Here is a tip, have 2 differnet colored sets of gloves, one set for each 6 month cycle, makes tracking and enforcing easier.

We send all of our gloves to Reed City as well and have a set of backup gloves for all of our guys.

Yup, same here, Reed City is the one! And 2 different colored sets is the best way to go.
