    Finally after three years it is done, we now have the 1st Edition of CSA Z462:). This will now be used in Canada instead of NFPA 70E.

    Technically haromonized with 70E, but we added 5 new Annexes:

    Annex A - Aligning implementation of this Standard with occupational health and safety management Standards
    Annex B - Safety-related electrical maintenance
    Annex P - Arc rating, arc thermal performance value, and breakopen threshold energy
    Annex Q - Arc flash and shock warning labels

    You may find some of these additional Annexes usefully in providing more detail on some areas that been mismanaged right now like layering and labeling.

    Regards;
    Terry Becker, P.Eng.
