AF clothing requirements

In the plant that I work, we manufacture medical devices. This is a clean room environment, including hair and beard covers ( nets) and a poly clean room gown. The machines in the area are all feed from a few 480v 3 phase buss's. The machines use various amperages from 30A to 200A. The company has supplied the electricians with AF level 2 ppe per the arc flash analysis we had done. The problem is that the gowns and beard covers as well as the earplugs and saftey glasses are not AF rated, I was told that we have purchased AF gowns ( long coats ) but the QA dept has not approved them for use in the clean room, and they havent purchased the hair/beard covers or the earplugs. So my question is can they make me work in CAT 2 AF if I dont have the correct AF ppe?
( The AF clothing we have now is a long sleve button shirt and pants)
    Thanks

I belive that the stuff we have is approved clean room but our QA dept has the final say, and as of yet they havent approved it and like I had said the ear plugs and hair covers arent AF and I havent heard that they were getting any, and they still want us to work in CAT 2 area with the stuff we have. I see this as a conflict, follow the regs, but if they say work with out the ppe thats ok?

    FR Cleanroom Garments

There are a couple different vendors that have FR Cleanroom garments that we found acceptable.

We chose one made by Oberon called ArcClean.

scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.
G&K Services also has an FR Cleanroom garment called ChemStat 919

The cleanroom garments have attached hoods to cover the hair.

Salisbury also makes FR hair/beard covers just look on their webpage or catalog.
