Fuse Manufacturers and TCCs

Do fuses that have the same label, for example... FRS-R-100, have the same TCC characteristics if the manufacturers differ such as bussman, trionic, gould shawmut, ect...?

I can't answer this with 100% certainty but my assumption is that they will be the same. Most fuse curves follow an ANSI standard. Manufacturers also need these fuses to be interchangable in the market place with their competitors.

I believe they have certain time current points they have to follow but outside of those points they might vary a bit. Also the current limiting properties might be slightly different but they have to fall within UL "umbrella values" for let thru.
