What are some good distributors/companies to buy ppe from?
  2. Zog Well-Known Member

Daily wear or coveralls? Chemical resistant or not? Natual fiber based or not? Clean rooms? What country are you in? Does it need to be made in USA?

    Quick answer: Salisbury

For coverall kits, Indura (Natual fiber based), no special needs, yes, pretty good option.

Oberon, they make their own and can do custom sizes, pockets, emblems, names, etc.

Bulwark has one of the largest selections I've seen.

I came across a company called Mitchell Instrument Co. Anyone have any insight on them?
  8. Zog Well-Known Member

Just a distributor like anyone else, paying money to a middle man. Again, what are you looking for? What are your PPE needs?

    Where To Buy

I hate to push some advertising here but you did ask.

I am an independent distributor of arc flash protective clothing. The benefit to you is that I have many contacts who differ in the quality of the garments and pricing.

Since many others chimed in, Workrite has a very extensive line with many different styles and fabrics to meet most needs. www.workrite.com

    A long established distributor

Mitchell Instrument Co., Inc has been around for over 35 years and is an established stocking distributor of arc flash equipment. Salisbury, Oberon, Carhartt and more. MI has a GSA contract for schedule 84, "special purpose clothing". Passing on discounts to the consumer. Definitely worth taking a look at.
