Here's a good one....

I just read on the website for The Workplace Safety Awareness Council that the August 2007 Revision on the 29CFR1910.301-.399 requires arc flash hazard boundaries, equipment labeling and PPE. Can anyone confrim this? I am trying to find a place to purchase the standard, but so far I can't find a place to do that. The above mentioned website is linked below.

You were misinformed (Too bad ti should be) the Aug revision adopted the installation section of the 70E, not the safe work practices, that is coming soon, I heard Feb 2008 but we are way past that already.

Also, here is a link to the 2005 Federal Register where OSHA proposed changes to it's utility standard 1910.269 to add arc flash requirements:

To my knowledge, these changes have not been adopted into 1910.269. I bet they are still being litigated.
