Does anyone know if you can use line gloves with leather rated for ANSI/ASTM Class 00 D120 type 1 , 500V AC MAX in a level 2 AF area or do you need different gloves? Reason I ask is because I cant find any level 2 gloves on the web only 3 & 4 so do the want you to level up, or are the ones I have ok? Thanks

The rubber gloves with the leather protectors is sufficient hand protection.

FYI, Hugh Hotgland was hired by one of the rubber insulating glove manufacturers and the rubber insulating gloves (black color) with the leather protector can provide significant arc flash protection in the 50-90 cal/cm2 range.
